The Vancouver Ki Society Business Seminar Series
"Change is inevitable, Growth is optional"
Companies are created by people. The ability of a company to be competitive, deliver key business objectives and adapt to a rapidly changing environment is directly related to its' culture and the attitude of its' people. A company's culture is a direct reflection of its' leaders.
How can a martial art bring value to my business?
The martial art of Ki Aikido, literally translated as "harmony with Ki", combines martial art with an active, living meditation called Mind and Body Coordination. Instead of learning to fight and collide with opponents, students learn to have a positive mind, lead their partners and reach their full potential. This art applies directly to business leadership.
Applying the principles of Ki Aikido to your business can help you:
- Create a more positive corporate culture that reduces stress, improves creativity, engages staff and promotes collaboration.
- Develop better business relationships founded on trust and clear communication.
- Overcome resistance to change and enable effective change management.
The Vancouver Ki Society Business Seminars:
The Vancouver Ki Society business seminars teach leaders how to apply the principles of Ki Aikido and Mind and Body Coordination to their business. We break these principles down into approachable pieces, offer real-world scenarios and hands-on exercises to validate each step.
Our basic seminar will teach:
- The basic principles of Mind and Body Coordination
- Natural posture and why this is important.
- What is Ki and how it can be used to be a more effective leader.
- The power of living relaxation and how to use the mind effecively
- The difference between Universal Mind and Personal Identity
- How to work cooperatively with people more effectively.
- How conflict can arise when working from personal identity.
- How to lead more effectively by applying Universal Mind.
- Five principles of Ki Aikido
- How trying to control others causes conflict.
- How to remain calm, see things from another person's perspective and lead without confrontation.
- How to perform with confidence.
Where possible, instructors include industry experts from your sector with experience using these principles in their personal and professional lives.
Seminars range from Lunch & Learn lectures (1 to 2 hours) to multi-day workshops. As new skills need to be practiced consistently to become habits, ongoing coaching and validation sessions are available.
Do you have specific cultural, staffing or conflict issues within your business? The Vancouver Ki Society can tailor seminars for your specific organizational needs.
