Alec Sun of Sun & Associates Business Consulting has been serving small businesses in the Vancouver region for more than 8 years. He is well known in the new Chinese immigrants' business community. Alec holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Management from University of Phoenix, and Bachelor of Science in Organic Chemistry. Alec was a general manager in a national franchised company for six year. Later, he became a business owner, buying and selling small businesses. In the past eight years, Alec has been consulting over 15 small businesses by developing appropriate business and marketing plans, implementing organizational management systems, and doing annually feasibility studies on the local fast food industry.

We assist planning exercises for a wide variety of organizations. We believe that fail to plan, plan for fail. We structure the plan for the most SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time limited) business goals.

2. Strategic plan
We promote strategic thinking. We believe that the process of planning is as important as the written final plan. We build commitment to implementation while we build up strategies. We deal with things that could block the plan from working.

3. Organizational Culture
We assist a client organization to seek to have an empowered workforce. We work with them to define what that would mean in their organization. We conduct interviews to decide what the current culture climate is. We work with the material from those interviews, with the Executive Group and design interventions to bring about a more empowered work force.

4. Community Consultation
We recognize the increased need of operational effectiveness and efficiency in socialites, non-profit organizations and church communities. We make plan for chairing and facilitating community committees. We assist organizations to form decision-making process, facilitate conflict management system, and provide marketing tools and evaluation methods for different organizations.
